Hi, I’m Sebastiaan.

I build embedded and industrial software — from Yocto-based Linux deployments to LoRaWAN IoT trackers. Outside of work I’m usually behind a camera or a book.

I work on embedded and industrial software at Capgemini, keeping legacy systems alive on client factory floors and shipping new features onto hardware that has to run for years without complaint. My bachelor thesis was a GPS tracker for dementia patients built on an ESP-32, which is where my interest in low-power embedded design and LoRaWAN really started. Outside of work I split my time between photography, reading, and slowly getting better at 3D modelling for a printer I’m far too attached to.
